PHPBB really brings me back, it's great.
As far as images go, you can also use the img tags, like so:
[img]https://image-url-here[/img] tags.
So this:
[img]https://hirstarts.com/cryptbridge.jpg[/img]
comes out as this:
https://hirstarts.com/cryptbridge.jpg .
